After months of turmoil the country of Spain and the region of Catalonia are left divided. The newly initiated Catalonian 'bid for independence' was accompanied by a flood of media attention, misconstrued arguments from both sides, painful memories of Franco's reign and nationalist/separatist sentiment. Ultimately, a regional election was planned where the people of Catalonia would vote their parliament - an ultimate test for those who seek independence. Together with the Guerrilla Foundation and Tresipunt, Vox Pop launched ParlemApp.cat a few weeks before the elections, allowing Spaniards and Catalonians to discuss their political opinions in an anonymous one-on-one environment.
